DNR Reports, Nov. 25 to Dec. 1

Wildlife rangers in southwest Georgia reported the following incidents for the week of Nov. 25 through Dec. 1:

 

Decatur County

On Nov. 25, RFC Tony Cox and Ranger Jace Heard patrolled Silver Lake WMA, citing one subject for taking over the limit of small bucks, and another subject for taking an antlerless deer. The area was open for antlered deer only at this time.

 

Early County

On Nov. 25, RFC Tony Cox and Ranger Jace Heard responded to a baited dove shoot complaint in Early County. The Rangers cited four subjects for hunting over bait.

 

Miller County

On Nov. 27, RFC Tony Cox and Ranger Jace Heard completed an investigation for taking over the limit of antlered deer. Three subjects were cited and three bucks were confiscated in this investigation.
