Letters to Santa being accepted

Published 8:32 am Monday, December 10, 2012

Santa Claus has again appointed The Post-Searchlight as his local letter agent, and The Post-Searchlight is now accepting letters from Decatur County boys and girls to tell Santa Claus what they want for Christmas. Letters should be brief (Santa has lots of letters to read) and should be addressed to “Santa Claus c/o The Post-Searchlight, P.O. Box 277, Bainbridge GA 39818.” They may also be left at the newspaper’s reception desk at 301 N. Crawford St. — or even sent by email to santa@thepostsearchlight.com. Letters will be published as they arrive, but should be received by the newspaper no later than Dec. 17, to ensure publication before Christmas. Any letters received too late for publication will be forwarded directly to Santa at the North Pole by high-speed Elf Express.
