Saturday, Dec. 1

Chosen Messengers of Donalsonville will celebrate their 19th anniversary at 6:30 p.m. at the Lions Hall on South Wiley Ave., featuring groups from Georgia, Florida and Alabama. The special guests are Evangelist Roxanne Broadnax and New Directions from Atlanta. Admission is free. Concessions will be available.

Disciples of Jesus Ministries, located at 1630 Bethel Road, will host a talent show beginning at 7 p.m., featuring choirs and groups from Blakely, Bainbridge and Thomasville. • 1st Annual MGM Law Enforcement Shoot Out in Blakely, Ga., 8 a.m.

• Christmas Boat Parade of Lights, Earle May Boat Basin, 6 p.m.

• Bainbridge Crusiers meeting and Cruise-In, Dairy Queen, 6:45 p.m.

• Bainbridge Little Theatre presents “The Dixie Swim Club,” Troup Street, 7:30 p.m. (continues Sunday at 2:30 p.m.)

Cornerstone Church, located at 609 Paulette St., Bainbridge, will be the site of a musical benefit program at 6 p.m. for Michael J. Corker, who has been diagnosed with liver disease. • Second Morning Star M.B. Church, located at 140 Engelhard Road, Attapulgus, will celebrate Pastor Henry Stephenson’s anniversary at 2 p.m., with guest minister Hayward Teague and Mt. Moriah No. 2 Church.

• Second Elizabeth M.B. Church, located at 2718 Attapulgus Highway, in Quincy, Fla., will be the site of the installation service for Pastor John L. Gardner Sr. as moderator of the Union Baptist Association. Installation services at 4 p.m. will be conducted by Rev. Dr. H.G. McCollough, moderator of the Second West Florida Association.

Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church, located at 631 White Bridge and Twilight Road in Miller County, will host a Thankful Heart Singing Convention following 10:30 a.m. Sunday school. Lunch will be served.
