Graveside services for Dorothey Laverne Tilley Hinson, 86, of Bainbridge, will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, in Greenwood Cemetery, in Cairo, Ga. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Mrs. Hinson passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.

Mrs. Hinson was born on Oct. 31, 1926, in Meigs, Ga., to the late Rainey Tilley and Ella Mae Malloy Tilley. In 1979, she married Robert Haywood Hinson, who preceded her in death on March 14, 1981. She was a homemaker and a member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church in Cairo. She loved home cooking and preparing meals for her family. Her favorite canine friend was her dog, named “Boy.”

Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Survivors include: her sister, Ailene Tilley Baggett of Bainbridge; a niece, Charlotte “Gary” Brown of Bainbridge; and a nephew, Steve “Martha” Baggett of Warner Robins, Ga.
