Fair swine show features champions

Tuesday night’s Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival and Fair swine show at the Cloud Livestock pavilion featured champions in the commercial gilt and market hog classes.

Charley Rayfield, of the Bainbridge High School Future Farmers of America chapter, showed the champion commercial gilt, and Bailey Rayfield, of the Decatur County 4-H Club, showed the reserve champion commercial gilt.

Taylor Barber of Decatur County showed the grand champion market hog and Matthew Womble of Seminole County showed the reserve champion market hog.

Barber and Audrey Anderson of the Decatur County 4-H Club showed the champion and reserve champion other breeds gilts.

Decatur County 4-H Club members swept all four showmanship divisions.

Rachel Hayes was first in the Pre Club showmanship division for first-through-third graders, and Lexie Delbrey was first in the junior showmanship division for fourth-through-sixth graders.

Heath Parker was first in the intermediate showmanship division for seventh-through-ninth graders and Audrey Anderson was first in the senior showmanship division for 10th-through-12th graders.
