Recovery United Methodist Church, located on Recovery Road off State Route 97 South, will hold their fall pilau supper from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dine-in at fellowship hall, or carry-out. $6 per plate.

• Second St. James M.B. Church, located at 1912 S. Potter St., will have a Season for Thanksgiving pre-Thanksgiving Dinner at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. Cleveland Sanders, of Colquitt, Ga.

Friendship House of Jesus, located at 220 N. Russ St., will begin holding Sunday worship services at their location beginning at 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to come worship with Friendship House under the pastorship of Jimmy Adamson.

New Fountainhead Baptist Church, located at 197 Old Pelham Rd., Bainbridge, will have a special service honoring all veterans and their families at 11 a.m. Lunch will follow at 12 noon.

New Freedom Christian Ministries, Inc., located at 725 E. Calhoun St., Bainbridge, will have a special Veteran’s Day service  from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with Sgt. 1st Class Eric Davis of Bainbridge as keynote speaker.
