Noble Lee West, 69, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at his home in Bainbridge. Services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Liberty Baptist Church, 2909 Vada Road (U.S. Highway 97 North), in Bainbridge. Rev. Milton Harrison will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel.

Noble Lee West was born July 16, 1943, in McCreary County, Ky., to R.L. West and Mable King West. He and his beloved wife, Joan, have been married 48 years. Lee was retired from Lynch Corp. Miller Hydro, where he worked as an engineer. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Lee West is survived by his wife, Joan King West of Bainbridge; his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Lee and Melissa Jones West, also of Bainbridge; sisters, Kathern Soard and husband, Vernon of Stearns, Ky. and Nevada Corder of Pine Knot, Ky.; brothers, Jack West and wife, Pernie of Strunk, Ky. and Rocky West and wife, Karen of Pine Knot; grandchildren, Keri Lee West, going to college in Tifton, Ga., and Karoline West of Bainbridge; many nieces, nephews, and extended family; and a host of friends and loved ones.

Cox Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
