A memorial service for Mr. John E. Fix, 97, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Chatham, N.J., will be held Oct. 6, 2012, at 11 a.m., at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge.

He was born in Greenwood, Ind., and died on June 10, 2012. He was married to the late Dorothy Fix since 1939.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, John S. Fix.

He is survived by his children, John D. Fix and his wife, Cynthia of Huntsville, Ala., James E. Fix and his wife, Pamela of Panama City,  Fla., and Judi Cwikla of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandsons, Stephen, Charles, Michael, James, and Joel Fix, and Joshua and Christopher Cwikla; 15 great-grandchildren; a niece, Sally Fay; and nephew, Roger Bone.
