Seventh grade Bearcats shut out Central

The Bainbridge Middle School seventh grade Bearcats football team kept their record perfect at 3-0 with a 22-0 victory over the Thomas County Central Middle School seventh grade Yellow Jackets Wednesday at Centennial Field.
Dameon Pierce broke loose down the left side for 68 yards and atouchdown with 4:21 showing on the fourth quarter clock to give the Bearcats an early 6-0 lead.
Malique Pate tried to run in for the two point conversion but was stopped just short.
With just 29 seconds remaining until the end of the third quarter, Pate ran two yards for a touchdown.
Pierce ran in for the two point conversion giving the Bearcats a 14-0 halftime lead.
The Bearcats final touchdown came on a two yard run by Pierce late in the fourth quarter. Pate ran in for the two point conversion.
The  seventh grade Bearcats will return to action next Wednesday, October 3 when they Thomasville’s Douglas Middle School seventh grade Bulldogs at 5 p.m. at Centennial Field.
