We join the community in celebrating the life of the late Joyce Robinson, who was remembered Friday when the Bainbridge College Shotwell Education Center’s lobby was named in her honor.

Robinson was a true stalwart in the community, making a difference through her service as a volunteer and educator. She helped start the kindergarten program at Morningside Baptist Church, and continued to teach there for more than 35 years. Her family was a tremendous benefactor to Bainbridge College, and believed in the institution’s education mission and its importance to the community.

Although Robinson passed away April 26 of this year, her memory will live on in the hearts of every student that comes through the doors of the BC Shotwell Education Center.
