Second St. James M.B. Church — The church, located at 1912 South Potter St., will hold the Armor of God Conference on Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. The theme is “Know your Enemy.”

Morris Temple Community First Born Church of the Living God — The church, located at 300 Poplar Ave., will observe Pastor Bishop Frank Hogan’s 27th anniversary on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2. Saturday’s service will be at 7 p.m. with Bishop Willie Lamb speaking and Sunday, at noon with Elder Earl Germany leading the service.

Spring Hill P.B. Church — The church, located at 1854 Lane Bridge Road, will observe the annual revival on Sept. 5-7, at 7:30 p.m. nightly, with Pastor Titus Butler, of Thomasville, Ga., leading the services on the theme, “Seeking Souls for Jesus Christ.”

E.D.E.N. International Ministries, Inc. — The church, located at 2550 Old Whigham Road, will hold a Birthing Experience Summit 2012, “Positioned and Ready to Deliver” on Sept. 6-9. Evening services are at 7:30 on Sept. 6 and Sept. 7. Sept. 8 is Youth Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., evening at 6 p.m.; Sept. 9 is at 10 a.m. Speakers vary. Greater Mt. Calvary First Born Church of the Living God Inc. — The church, located on S. Broad St., in Climax, will have Family and Friends Day on Saturday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. with Redeeming Life Fellowship Church congregation and Apostle G. Kevin Hindesman as participants.

First African Baptist Church — The church, located at 115 Church St., in West Bainbridge, will celebrate their Men and Women’s Day program on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. The public is cordially invited to attend.

Mt. Zuma M.B. Church — The church, located at 2015 Vada Highway, will celebrate its church and pastor anniversaries. Rev. Harry J. Mitchell Sr. has been a pastor for 19 years, while the church is marking its 104th anniversary. The celebration will take place Sept. 12 through Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. nightly, and on Sunday the 16th at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., with various guest speakers each day.

• Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church — The church, located in Vada, will host the monthly social of the Young at Heart on Friday, Sept. 14, at 6:30 p.m. A “Butterbean Auction” will be held prior to the meal served at 7 p.m. For further information contact Deborah Bennett at (229) 246-7282 or Vonnie Hatcher at (229) 336-1828.

New Salem F.W.B. Church — The church, located at 2574 Spring Creek Road, will celebrate the seventh anniversary for Minister Melba Washington on Sept. 16, at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Randall Hines Sr. and Kingdom Harvest Fellowship bringing the message.

Piney Grove M.B. Church — The church, located on Piney Grove Road, in Whigham, Ga., will have a pastor’s appreciation service for Rev. Harry J. Mitchell Sr. on Sept. 23 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Percy Leggett, of Iron City, Ga., speaking.
