Bainbridge football coach Ed Pilcher said Tuesday that his team’s scheduled season-opening game Friday, Aug. 31, at Northview in Dothan, Ala., has been cancelled by Northview.assumption

“They had a change in coaches and administrators at Northview and they called and cancelled the game,” he said. “It is too late to schedule a replacement, because everybody has already got their schedules locked in.

“We will be playing nine games, rather than 10, and our opener will now be Friday, Sept. 7, against the Cairo High School Syrupmakers at home.”
