• First Christian Church — The church, located at 908 S. Scott St., will have Vacation Bible School on Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday, July 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., on the theme of Jonah and the Whale. There will be water fun on Sunday. Bring water clothes and sunscreen.

• Ford Chapel A.M.E. Church —  The church, located at 425 W. College St., will observe its church anniversary on Sunday, July 22, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Willie F. Griffin as guest speaker.

Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church — The church, located at 849 MLK Drive, will have Family and Friends Day on Sunday, July 22, at 3 p.m. Overseer Gregory James and the Calvary Boys, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be guests participants.

• Faith Life Ministries — The church, located at 335 Colquitt Highway, in Eldorendo, will hold a revival July 25-27, at 7:30 p.m. nightly, with Pastor Bobby Daniels leading services.

Heaven on Earth Church of God in Christ — The church, located at 610 E. Plain St., in Donalsonville, Ga., will hold its summer revival starting Wednesday, July 25, through Friday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. Revivalist will be co-Pastor Brenda Peterson of Vision Faith Outreach Ministries. • Our Father’s House Church — The church, located at 165 Midway Road, in Cairo, will host Youth on Fire 2012 for all ages on July 27 and July 28 at 6 p.m., and July 29 at 10 a.m., featuring praise teams and youth bands from around the area.

• Mt. Olive Baptist Church — The church, located at 300 Mt. Olive Church Road, will host The Singing Hendersons in concert on July 29 at 11 a.m.

• Southwest Baptist Church — The church, located at 1101 Faceville Highway, in Bainbridge, will have its homecoming on Sunday, July 29. Morning worship is at 10:30 a.m., with Donnie Hollis of St. Petersburg, Fla., bringing the message. Lunch will follow.

• Mt. Zuma M.B. Church — The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, in Bainbridge, will have a Fifth Sunday Gospel Sing on July 29 at 5 p.m. featuring The Amazing Harmony Four, The Spiritual Wonders, The Spiritual Aires, all of Bainbridge, Queen Horne and the Horne Gospel Singers of Donalsonville, Ga., and The Calvary Boys of Tallahassee, Fla.

• Jakin United Methodist Church — The church will be the first site of a revival, featuring former Pastor Ramon Hernandez, on July 29 at 6 p.m. Iron City UMC will be the second site on July 30 at 7 p.m. and the event will conclude July 31 at 7 p.m. at the Brinson UMC.

Disciples of Jesus Ministries — The church, located at 1630 Bethel Road, will observe its Ushers’ Anniversary on Aug. 9-10 at 7:30 p.m., with Pastor Tommy Williams, of Thomasville, Ga., as guest speaker on Aug. 9, and Pastor Leonard Cooper, of Iron City, Ga., on Aug. 10. The event concludes Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m., with Evangelist Mildred Bundage of Pensacola, Fla.
