\The Bainbridge-Decatur County Council for the Arts invites the public to the opening reception for the exhibit of artwork by the participants of this year’s Summer Art Camp.  Students explored the theme of “Aquatic Animals,” while learning drawing, painting, collage, clay and photography. The art camp was divided into two, week-long sessions. A total of 60 students participated, with eight scholarships awarded. Each child produced a wonderful array of art thoughout the week. The reception is Sunday, July 1, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Shown above, from session 1 of the art camp, are, left to right, teacher, Pam Cross, and students, Brooke Worsley, Destiny Brown and Amaya McCullough, showing their drawings.
