• Second Elizabeth M.B. Church — The women’s ministry of the church, located at 2718 Attapulgus Highway, in Quincy, Fla., will host a workshop entitled, “The Whole Health Workshop” on June 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This workshop is for all ages and includes men. • E.D.E.N. International Ministries — The church, located at 2550 Old Whigham Road, Bainbridge, will continue their celebration of the second pastoral anniversary of Dr. Calvin L. Lewis on Saturday, June 30, with a banquet at 6 p.m. Tickets for the banquet are $20. The celebration will conclude on Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m.

• Calvary Baptist Church — The church, located at 601 Chason St., will be the site for the fourth annual Patriotic Celebration to be held on Sunday, July 1.

• New Home #2 Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located on Church Road, Climax, will host the gospel group, The Faithful Servants, on Sunday, July 1. Morning worship is at 11 a.m., followed by lunch, and singing begins at 1:30 p.m.

• Swanswall M.B. Church — The church, located in Brinson, will observe Rev. Percy E. Leggett Jr.’s Pastor Anniversary on July 1 at 11:30 a.m. Pastor T. Baulkman of Mt. Nebo M.B. Church and the Young Men in Christ, will be special participants.

• Magnolia M.B. Church — The church, located at 1210 Center St., Bainbridge, will hold the annual Men’s Day program on Sunday, July 1, at 3 p.m., with Minister Wallace McCullough speaking on, “Adam, where art thou?”

• Mt. Zion M.B. Church — The church, located at 516 Hanover Road, will have a revival July 2 to July 6 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The Rev. Cleveland Sanders will be guest speaker for the week.

• First African Baptist Church — The church, located at 115 Church St., West Bainbridge, will celebrate its 109th anniversary, beginning Thursday, July 5, at 7:30 p.m. with guests St. Paul M.B. Church of Grady County, Ga., and the Rev. Thomas Garland, in charge; Friday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. with St. Mark of Mitchell County and Rev. Dwight Reaves in charge. It will culminate on Sunday, July 8, at 11 a.m., with church pastor, the Rev. Henry L. Flowers III, preaching. Dinner will be served.
