Greater Mt. Calvary First Born Church — The church, located at 417 E. Broad St., Climax, will hold a yard sale in the parking lot on Saturday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• The Second Elizabeth M.B. Church — The church, located at 2718 Attapulgus Highway, Quincy, Fla., will celebrate the 21st anniversary of the church’s youth ministry on Sunday, June 10, at 11 a.m. The guest church and minister is Kingdom Harvest Ministries with Rev. Randall Hines, of Attapulgus.

First African Baptist Church of West Bainbridge — The church, located at 115 Church St., West Bainbridge, will celebrate its annual Youth Day on Sunday, June 10, at the 11 a.m. service, with Mellori Evonn Lumpkin as the speaker. Lumpkin, a recent graduate of the University of California-Berkeley Law School, has accepted a position with the firm of Holland & Knight LLP, in Atlanta, Ga.

Union M.B. Church — The church, located at 703 Martin St., West Bainbridge, will observe its male usher anniversary on June 10, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Eric Collins as guest speaker.

• Mt. Zuma M.B. Church — The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, Bainbridge, will have an appreciation service for Rev. and Mrs. Harry Mitchell Sr. on Sunday, June 10, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Walter White Jr. of Dothan, Ala., as the guest speaker. Dinner will be served.

• New Birth Worship Center — The church, located at 1701 Bethel Road, Bainbridge, will hold a prophetic service on June 10, at 7 p.m.

• Highway Free Will Baptist Church — The church, located at 3376 Dothan Road, Brinson, will host a homecoming on June 10. Services are at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. S.E. Newberry of Quincy, Fla., as the guest speaker. A covered dish will follow the services and singing begins at 1:30 p.m., featuring The Regals.

St. Thomas M.B. Church — The church, located at 198 Edward Road, Fowlstown, will hold the 2012 Men’s Day Celebration on June 10, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Mark  Wilkerson and Pilgrim Rest M.B. Church as the guest speakers.

• First United Methodist Church — The church, located at 300 W. Shotwell St., Bainbridge, will present “Operation Overboard” Vacation Bible School on Sunday, June 10, through Wednesday, June 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. for kindergarten through sixth grade. Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church — The church, located at 5008 Vada Road, Climax, will hold Vacation Bible School for all ages on June 10-14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., on the theme of “Babylon: Daniel’s Courage in Captivity.”

Antioch M.B. Church—The church, located in Brinson, is holding a Revival from June 11-15 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Johnny Kegler as speaker.

Union M.B. Church—The church, located at 703 Martin St. will hold a Revival June 11-15 at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Brinson leading the services.

Bloodwalk Street Ministry — The ministry is sponsoring a “Youth Explosion 2012” on Wednesday, June 13, at 3 p.m. in Willis Park, featuring Christian rap artists, praise dancing, a local band, refreshments and more.

New Harvest Outreach Ministries — The church, located at 411 Donaldson St., Bainbridge, will host the 2012 Men’s Conference on June 13-15 at 7:30 p.m. nightly, with Pastor Otis Forbes of Donalsonville, Ga., Elder Benjie Noble of Albany, Ga., Pastor John L. Gardner of Quincy, Fla., and Minister J. Davis participating.

• First Baptist Church — The church, located at 401 E. Shotwell St., Bainbridge, will hold Vacation Bible School on June 18-22, from 9 a.m. to noon.

First African Baptist Church of West Bainbridge — The church, located at 115 Church St., West Bainbridge, will hold a deaconess workshop on Saturday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. Rev. Roosevelt Bradwell, the pastor of Galilee M.B. Church in Midway, Fla., will be the instructor.

EDEN International Ministries — The church, located at 2550 Old Whigham Road, Bainbridge, will hold services Friday, June 29, at 7 p.m., a banquet on Saturday, June 30, at 6 p.m., and a service on Sunday, July 1, at 4 p.m., all in honor of the second pastoral anniversary of  Dr. Calvin L. Lewis. The banquet is $20 per person.

• Calvary Baptist Church — The church, located at 601 Chason St., Bainbridge, will be the site for the fourth annual Patriotic Celebration, to be held Sunday, July 1. Musicians and singers are needed to participate in this celebration of God and country, which is open to all citizens of Decatur County.
