Congratulations to Alexandra Leah Emmons upon her graduation, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia on May 11.

She graduated with two degrees — a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Emmons will be doing her graduate studies in Biological anthropology, forensics and genetics at the University of Tennessee.

She is the daughter of Alan Emmons, a forestry consultant with the Southern Forestry Firm in Bainbridge. She is the step-daughter of Tina Emmons who is in the medical field. Both parents are from Climax, and proud grandparents are Leah and Albert Emmons, who also reside in the Climax community.

Climax is proud to have such a fine representative as Alexandra.
