Services for David Tyrone “Ty” Bush, 51, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Feb. 11, at Greater Macedonia M.B. Church with Pastor Eric D. Collins officiating.

Interment followed in Jonas Lobe Cemetery with Corey Adams, Joe Carlton, Sydney Carlton, TeRandy Evans, Arthur Miller, Charles Mullins, Anthony Smith and Devarrio Worthy acting as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Bruton, Timothy Frazier, Alfred Johnson, James Kirkland and Marvin Riles.

Mr. Bush was born July 2, 1960 in Bainbridge to Verna Jean Bush and James Jackson. He died Feb. 6, 2012 in Tallahassee, Fla.

He attended Hutto High and Bainbridge High Schools, was a member of Greater Macedonia M.B.Church and worked at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers for over 30 years until the plant closing.

Mr. Bush was preceded in death by his mother; grandmother, Annie Lou Bush and an uncle, Gus Bush, Sr.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 20 years, Mrs. Marion J. Bush; daughters Sintoria Bush (Jeff) and Monica Butler; two grandsons, Kristen and Jayden; three granddaughters, Chinna, Trinity and Michela; a loving father, James Jackson (Dorothy); four sisters, Alicia Riles (Marvin), Cynthia Knight, both of Bainbridge, Tangie Hinson (Larry) of Philadelphia, Pa., and Linda Williams of Miami, Fla.; a brother, Larry Bush (Cheryl) of Atlanta; a stepbrother, Michael Jackson of Philadelphia, Pa.; a grandmother, Ossie Bell Cooper; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
