Misty Barber will be performing at the OnStage Atlanta Theatre in The Drowsy Chaperone. This show-within-a-show begins when a die-hard musical fan plays his favorite cast album, a 1928 smash hit called “The Drowsy Chaperone” and the show magically bursts to life. Misty will be playing the role of Janet Van De Graaff. The plot centers on Van De Graaff, a showgirl who plans to give up her career in order to marry an oil tycoon. Please visit OnStage Atlanta’s website (www.onstageatlanta.com) for show and ticket information. The show will run weekends Feb. 17 through March 10. Misty Barber is the daughter of Carl and Billie Barber and granddaughter of Guy and Flora Barber of Bainbridge. She is a 2011 Young Harris College graduate with a degree in musical theatre.
