Tommy Eugene Gunn Finch, 50, of Statesboro, Ga., died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.

He was a native of Seminole County, but had been living in Bulloch County most of his life.

He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.

A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at the Chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Butler officiating.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Finch of Statesboro, and Matthew Hubbell of Atlanta, Ga.; his father and step-mother, Gene and Lorene Gunn of Statesboro; four sisters, Tammy Cobb of Dothan, Ala., Lisa Clayton of Atlanta, Michelle McDowell of Statesboro, and Becky Boyd of Kentucky; four brothers, Teddy Gunn of Claxton, Ga., Allen Gunn of Bainbridge, Jerry Gunn of Portal, Ga., and Joey Gunn of Statesboro.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro was in charge of the arrangements.
