Funeral services for Sister Jeanette Henry Robinson, 93, of Bainbridge, were held Fri., July 29, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Wooden officiating. Interment followed in Galilee Cemetery in Donalsonville, Ga., with Willie Robinson Jr., Luther Robinson Jr., Elder Matthew Melton, Larry Jackson, Kenneth Whisby and Ronnie Robinson serving as active pallbearers.

Born April 11, 1918 in Donalsonville, Sister Robinson passed away July 24, 2011, at her residence.

Sister Robinson was the daughter of the late Crawford and Delia Henry. She joined Galilee M.B. Church at an early age, later moving to New Hope M.B. Church No. 2. She and her husband, W.K. Robinson, had six children.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Robinson.

Survivors include three sons, Willie Robinson and his wife Laverne of Miami, Fla., Henry Robinson Brinson and his wife Marie of Brinson and Luther Robinson and his wife Evelyn of Thomasville, Ga.; two daughters, Lula Jackson and her husband William of Miami, and Ernestine Williams and her husband John of Bainbridge; a sister, Louise Robinson of Bainbridge; three brothers, Willie Henry and Rev. C.J. Henry of Bainbridge and William Henry of Rochester, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
